Wellbeing Westmorland events 2024

Kendal Walking Festival is taking place this year from
Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May 2024

There’s a walk for everyone at the 7th Kendal Walking Festival. Walks take place in and around Kendal from Arnside to Ullswater. Most will be starting in Kendal with either public transport or transport available. Walks are graded from easy to strenuous. There’s something for all the family. Join us this May Bank Holiday. Cycle Maintenance Workshops at Kendal schools

Wellbeing Westmorland is working with Kendal Town Council to bring a series of cycle maintenance workshops to pupils and parents of schools in Kendal.

Workshops will include:

Bike safety checks and puncture repairs
Basic maintenance – brakes and chains
these will be separate workshops for pupils and for parrents
Cycle to school – parent and child.

Workshops are currently available at Dean Gibson School. Watch this space for other Kendal schools.
